Two Prisoners on Hunger-Strike in "Ashkelon" Confinement
Al-Huriya News Agency -Prisoners' Club reported that the two isolated prisoners Mahmoud Salama and Massoud Abu Zant from Tulkarem are on a hunger-strike since 25 days. The club added, according to the prisoners' families who stated that, their sons are on a hunger-strike since 25 days in confinement in "Ashkelon" prison to protest against transferring them from "Megiddo" prison to "Ashkelon".
The two families explained that the process of transferring the prisoners has caused difficulties in the possibility of visiting them due to the fact that their mothers are suffering bad health conditions; therefore, they were unable to visit their sons from the city of Tulkarem to "Ashkelon" prison. It is worth mentioning that, the two prisoners are detained in the Israeli jails since 12/21/2012.
